Kite reflection (6-D) Febuary 4, 2013
1. Its colored well because I took a lot of time on the coloring and took pride in my kite.
2. I could have used a differnet color in the middle becasue its like all differnet cause the marker was out.
3. It's triangle and had stripes through it becasue I wanted to have a cool kite in the air.
4. I Imade a triangle kite because I wanted to make a simple kite that I know will fly.
5. I used mostly dark colors that are bright because in the air I wanted it to stand out in the sky.
6. I didnt like using sharpies becasue it took forever to color my kite. I also did two kites so I had to color front and back of the kite. A positive is the sharpies made the colors stand out.
7. Your not always going to have help and you need to use others if you cant figure something out on yourself becasue I wasted a lot of time waiting for Mr. Purdy when if I would have actually thought about it I could have gotten it myself.
8. I knew right away I wanted to do a triangle becasue I like how it looked on paper and I knew it would fly. I faced a challenge of two huge kites and had to get them done through study hall and a few hours at home coloring. I didnt change anything as the process progressed, I had a plan and stayed with it. I had to put on thick dowels for my kite to be durable enough to handle the wind.
9. I thought this project was good, becasue its going to be really cool to see them fly. I just would change one thing and I would kind of take 10 minutes on the first day and just do a quick demo kite that shows how to do the dowels and fins, and string and actually show them hands on. That would have prevented many questions.
