6-D Thematic painting reflection: March 5th, 2013
1. The background was my favorite part becasue I really was trying to get that color and I actually did somehow.
2. I would have changed he grass to make it look more real because it just looks flat.
3. My theme was Eternal life because I believe in God and that if we repent for our sins they are forgiven and we have eternal life in heaven.
4. The main colors I used were yellow and brown. I painted the cross brown because thats the color of it.
5. The outside of my cross has a lighter brown becasue I wanted a faded look in the cross and my dark values were the inside of my cross.
6. I learned that if you take your time you can do it neater becasue I painted the words several time fast and once that was the last time was the best.
7. First I drew a cross in a sunset on my prelimanary designs because I wanted a christian theme. Then I put it on a poster and added details on top. I painted the cross first and I changed my colors of paint everyday.
8. Yes it is because i learned techniques to draw streight line and how to write with a paintbrush.
